Sampler adds fades to start and end of multiple samples

Wed Jul 29, 2020 4:14 am

Hi,

I'm on 10.15. I had a problem with 10.15.1 not seeing auth iLok software...

I'm looking for some help with a problem I'm having with the new sampler.

It's when I slice a breakbeat using slice at Flex markers and then convert resulting slices to a new sampler instrument. The sampler adds a fade in and a fade out to every slice. I have to manually remove this fade in/out for every sample.

Is there a way to either not have these fade as default or edit all keygroups as one?

Thanks in advance,

Alexander

This is what I get. Every sample group has a little attack and release. I need to get rid of this!

Cheers

Have you tried dragging the samples to the track header to create the sampler instrument ?

I just tried it and it doesn't add fades, thank you for that.

Also, it doesn't give you the MIDI file, which is a shame! I guess I can convert it the original way as well and use that MIDI data. Bit of a faff really! It would be great to be able to edit all keygroups as one... or not have the fades...

Thanks for your help, David.

You can drag it by dragging from the bottom part of the waveform display onto the track in the Tracks area.

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean! I did try a few combinations, but nothing that produced a MIDI file...

Thanks

First make sure you're in SLICE mode, then...:
