modowd Posted November 17, 2014 Share Posted November 17, 2014 Hello all - I had recently moved from Logic 9 to Logic Pro X, and have imported my first OMF. I was deeply disappointed and irritated to see the exact same stupid OMF import error as I often saw in the older version of the software: "Bad file name or volume name (perhaps zero-length) Result code = -37 While a few of the clips do make it into the project, most clips triggered this error and do not appear in the audio folder or the tracks area. I of course searched the forums and online before posting, and it appears only a handful of people have run into this error. Any thoughts? It appears to be an illegal character or filename length issue, which is an unbelievably stupid and embarrassing thing to occur in a professional audio program.
