prh
Hi there, I've started using Logic more often recently and noticed a rather annoying bug (?) with the Undo system. Basically, if the Library panel has focus and you then open a plugin and make a change, undoing that change via the edit menu or command-Z won't work correctly. The text description in the Edit menu ("Undo XYZ") is correct, but selecting it will cause the wrong actions to be reverted. Instead of reverting the single plugin change, it reverts a bunch of additional changes up to and including the most recent non-plugin change. Unfocusing (or closing) the library before undoing fixes the problem. It's probably easier to understand by watching this video. It first shows the bug occurring when the library is open and disappearing when the library is closed. Has anyone else encountered this issue? David Nahmani
Bug confirmed! I hadn't noticed it before but just tried it based on your description and was able to reproduce right away. Wow. Bad one! Oh and... welcome to Logic Pro Help!
prh
Thanks for trying it! So it's not just me... I went ahead and submitted a report through the feedback form. I would guess a lot of users will encounter this one.
