Bounce / exporting CANCEL (stop) button

Everything is in the title !

Why do we have to press an awkward key shortcut to cancel the bounce export ?

I double that.... Thanx, I wasn't aware there was a key shortcut.

I can't find the shortcut for stopping a bounce that is in progress - does anybody know what it is?

Command-period is a default key command in many Apple applications to stop the current process, in case you might need it.
