Moving/Saving Project Session Files to External

Tue Sep 01, 2020 7:16 pm

Hi guys,

What is the simplest and best way to save and move project sessions on external hard drive, so I can remove the original project session folders that exist on my computer's hard drive and free up space. I searched the topics here and couldn't find this step. Thanks for the help guys.

I think that using the "Save as..." and navigating to select the external drive desrired location should do the trick. After checking that loading that new project works fine, you could simply delete the original version.
For perennity sake, I would also consolidate the project before moving it.

Oh okay. So I will do that you said here and try the consolidate step too. So if I save it as directly into the external hard drive it doesn't automatically delete it from computer disk or save it in hard drive only, it's still on computer hard disk and I can delete it from computer later. Thanks for your help.
