Currently I'm now working on this as a MacOSX/iOS application, but using Logic Pro X scripter is a great tool for seeing of concepts/ideas will work. I'm finishing up the documentation for this application I wrote but ChordsInScales was built because of this Logic Pro X Scripter prototype I did. Not only does it generate the normal 7th, 9th and 11th chord progressions but over 35 other chord progressions that work with the scale that you type in. So think of the possible chord progressions you can use to create your song. Again, that's why I love Logic Pro X Scripter, I've created other prototypes and I'm looking into converting them into MacOSX Applications. The next one I'm working on is based on Chord Maps.
