EXS24 plays two samples with different velocities

Greetings,

I am fairly new, so please bear with me,

The other day, I used Autosampler in MainStage to sample a h/w sound module. My plan is to have ESX patches for all my h/w instruments eventually. To begin with, I created one ESX24 patch with 3 different velocities to see how it would sound.

When I opened the new patch in EXS24, the velocity ranges were correctly set for each sample. However, I noted that sometimes, two samples with different velocities are played. I have included a screenshot to show the issue.

As you see in the screenshot, when E3 is played at velocity of 25, the samples for ranges 0-32 and 33-77 are played. This causes an unwelcome change in the tone of the sound (in this case, the sound is as if it is coming from a hollow pipe)

If anyone has noticed this and/or dealt with it, I will be very happy if you share the information on how to deal with it.

Thanks.

In EXS's GUI, you can see that the velocity crossfade is set to 16

This causes smooth transition between two (or more) samples by playing both samples at varying volume depending on velocities (in this case) between 24 - 40.

That's logical! -- Will try and let you know ;)

Thanks.
