Kouly
This is kind of a cool little tune. The synth patch kind of weaves in and out on it's own. I just got inspired by it and recorded it into Logic. The guitar is even spacier (is that a word?). It comes in at about 2:00 min, see if you can spot it. So far, the people reviewing the song have not heard it but it is there. I have to admit the guitar has got mega delay on it. First the guitars preamp had a delay then when it got to logic I used a sequenced panning delay. Very wild effect. At the very end I took a recorded phrase from the double delayed guitar and reversed the audio in the sample editor. Presto! Metallic birds! camillo jr
Hey I really like that delayed guitar! I think you could make more of the it, maybe feature it in preference to the ongoing synth line? For my ears the peice could use some "refreshment" from that sound at about the 2 minute mark anyway. I want to hear more variation in the density of the texture, like what happens at the end.
Kouly
I see what your saying, I have struggled with this piece for one reason or another. I was just waiting for someone else to give me some of their thoughts. You know how when you worked on something so long, you lose your perspective? So I will look into that. Thanks for taking the time to check it out and post.
