MikeRobinson
I have a musical keyboard (a Korg "Kross 2") which can also function as an audio input/output device. When I plug it in, I see that it is recognized and that it becomes the default input and output device in the "Sound" control panel. However, when I plug my headphones into it and listen, sometimes I hear expected things like "Logic's metronome click-track," and sometimes I don't. I always hear the sounds produced by the instrument, and the MIDI events are being captured, but about 50% of the time I don't hear the click. And, so far, I haven't been able to piece-together why. To be clear – it is the apparent inconsistency that is actually befuddling me. Yes, I know that I am listening to the external device. Yet, seemingly, "sometimes it works fine, and sometimes it doesn't."
Atlas007
Have you tried tried monitoring directly from within your Mac's audio output? That would require that you change the audio device preference accordingly. which precise Logic version are you using?
