Mark1971
Hi, I first wanna say that I love this forum and I appreciate all the help from experienced LPX users! I have a song where in the second verse I want to create a synth bass that sustains (maybe glide) one pitch to create tension underneath everything else (gtr, vocal, etc...) going on; but then a couple bars before the hook I want the pitch of the bass to pitch up an octave or two to crescendo as the hook vocal starts. Any ideas on how I can do that?
Mark1971
I figured it out. I played a bass note for the length I wanted, inserted AU Pitch and then I went into the automation; selected pitch and drew in the automation for the riser I wanted....BOOM! John_D
If you want to do it by hand instead of mouse, you can also record in pitch bend. Just sent the bend range to 12, and bend it like Beckham.
