apple
When I bounce my 4 minute track in mp3 format, I save it to my desktop and try playing it, but the filesize is only 4kb and QuickTime cannot open or play the track. I'm obviously doing something wrong, does anyone have any suggestions what my problem is? Note: When I bounce the track, Logic displays progress and everything appears to function okay. I've attached a screenshot of my bounce settings.
kwackman
Dunno. Try ticking the "add to iTunes lib" box to see if you can get something out tjhat way...
Ploki
i usually have both PCM and MP3 checked when i bounce to mp3... add to iTunes library does nothing except adding the file to iTunes After the bounce is complete. try checking PCM along with MP3, that might do the trick
apple
Thanks a bunch guys! Here's what I did to resolve the issue in case anyone else in the future comes across this issue: I deselected "mp3", clicked another option, and then reselected mp3. A weird anomaly but at least it works.
dkgross
weird. at least it's working now. be careful with that 'normalize' button. Leave it off, and make sure your levels are set properly within your mix instead to achieve the final volume you want.
