Erasing midi data question

Hi all,

Just searching the site for info that would help me erase existing midi automation data. I was going through deleting it manually then found this: viewtopic.php?t=88214 and tried to delete from the event list but everything went. I imagine there's an elegant way to go through half a dozen tracks and delete all automation (mostly expression and mod) leaving the notes with their velocity...is there?

Thank you for any help,

Jeremy

To select and/or delete performance data like Expression (CC11) or ModWheel (CC1) quickly across several Tracks, select the Regions, Window>Open MIDI Transform and set it like this:

Think about your life choices for 1.6 seconds, then click on Select & Operate.

Thanks Christian. I deleted everything except the notes themselves — turns out that might be a little heavy handed....

Thanks so much for the help with this

Isn't this precisely what you asked for ?

delete all automation (mostly expression and mod) leaving the notes with their velocity.

I showed you how to select and delete CC11, implying how to get rid of other stuff too if necessary, so what did you erase that you actually wanted to keep ?
