JetLab
I've never had a problem dragging songs out of iTunes directly into Logic Pro X and having it automatically create a track. Now for some reason when I drag a song into the arrange window get the little red numbered circle next to the song and it will not let me drop the file into Logic. Very frustrating as I used to do this without any problems. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. Cheers
volovicg
Are you sure it isn't a purchased song with DRM protections ? Try dragging something you created from iTunes into Logic.
David Nahmani
Also double-check the format of the audio file? See my answer in the following thread: Can't add audio to logic project [sOLVED]

JetLab
Are you sure it isn't a purchased song with DRM protections ? Try dragging something you created from iTunes into Logic. I am trying to drag a song that I purchased on iTunes. I've been able to do this in the past. In fact I have quite a few commercial songs in iTunes that I have dragged into Logic as recently as yesterday. Not sure what is up? Could it be that these are songs I purchased individually a while back before I signed on to unlimited iTunes?
