snorkybingo
Hi, I used to own a Yamaha S90 ES piano and now every time I start up a particular project I get a warning: Instrument “S90 ES Port 1” sends to a MIDI port Port 1 of MIDI interface ”Yamaha S90 ES” which no longer exists. I also get this warning when I click on MIDI Preferences in Logic. And if I right click on a track header, in the Reassign Track menu under MIDI instr. the “S90 ES Port 1” appears there too. Is there any way to remove this MIDI Instrument to stop these warnings? Thanks for any help you can give me. Darren. Not sure if it’s relevant but the project was originally started in Logic 9 and imported into Logic X. I searched the the forum for “Remove MIDI Instrument” but the search engine removes the words MIDI and Instrument so I end up with nearly 8000 hits appertaining to the word Remove which isn’t at all helpful. Solution CCTMusic Posted January 15, 2022 Solution Share Posted January 15, 2022 Hi Go to Window > Open MIDI Environment. Navigate to the MIDI Instr. layer, search for your S90 object and delete it. CCT
snorkybingo
Many thanks CCT, it wasn’t there by default but after selecting MIDI Instr. in the Layer section I was able to delete it. Happy days!
