Germanfunk
"capture last take as recording" wich we always used to write non destructive volume ( CC7 ) automation on Audio tracks seems not to exist in the new Logic Pro anymore. David Nahmani
The command is now called "Capture as Recording". The default is Shift-R.
Germanfunk
Yea right!-) Thank you for the correct Name. But still it is not working like it did before the last major update - capturing volume CC7 on Audio Tracks…
David Nahmani
But still it is not working like it did before the last major update - capturing volume CC7 on Audio Tracks… You're right, it does not record MIDI on an Audio track. Not sure if this is by design or a bug. I suppose you're aware of the workarounds (capture-record on a MIDI track routed to the audio channel strips, or use volume track automation)? David Nahmani
You're welcome. I will mention it and try to see if it's a bug or intended.
