smoothpoop69
What are these thin blue, red, and green lines? How can I make changes to them?
David Nahmani
They indicate the velocity of the notes. See that pop-up menu to the left that says "Display off"? Choose Note Velocity, and you'll be able to drag the lines up or down. Each line starts with a dot, that's the dot you drag up or down. Then length of the line represents the length of the note. amusong
I strongly recommend you read the manual about this area of the piano roll. You can edit many useful things, including pitch bend, midi expression, any midi control that you have used in fact. I edit breath controller data here as well. It's a very good area to get to know.
