David Nahmani
Can anyone reproduce? 1. Choose File > New from Template. 2. Open a "Live Loops" template. 3. Import a loop into the 1st cell on the Audio track. 4. Click the cell to start playback. 5. During playback, click a loop in the Loop browser. The loop you click does not start playback, so that you cannot preview it?

David Nahmani
All OK here David. I can hear both at the same time.. Thank you for trying it out and reporting back! It's weird, for me here, sometimes it works as expected, other times it doesn't, I can't figure out why.
Dynamic_Notes
Hi David, Of course you wouldn't have inadvertantly left your volume slider on 0? (Easy enough to do) I wonder if it could be something to do with different loop types either playing with each other or with another group? (green, yellow, blue etc) For my test I just pulled in "12 String dream 01" (green) to live loop cell and played one of the other green loops in that batch. That was fine Then I just chose to play a blue loop "2- Step backflip beat 02" (blue) to play with said live loop and that was fine.
David Nahmani
No, it's not the volume slider, the playhead doesn't even appear on the waveform at the bottom of the loop browser. I put "Je Danse Kick" in a cell and then play it, and I can't preview any other loop. I reproduced this on two machines. Well sure enough, now that I try again, it works just fine. Go figure. Thanks for your help!

Atlas007
Works flawlessly over here following your steps and 'Je Danse Kick'.
David Nahmani
Works flawlessly over here following your steps and 'Je Danse Kick'. Thanks a lot for giving this a try André. So what I ended up figuring out was that it works only there's no visible playhead appearing on the waveform display at the bottom of the Loop browser, as there is normally when you preview a Loop when the project is stopped. redgreenblue
I have had the same thing happen in Logic 10.5.3. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. I haven’t spent much time troubleshooting it.
