Atlas007
After updating macOS to BigSur and updating Logic Pro to 10.7, Logic (at every boot up) keeps popping an alert to report there are 3 incompatible plugins activated. The alert doesn’t specify which plugins are involved. That alert dialog box offer me to either ignore same or open the Plug-in Manager window. Opting for the latter, proves there are no faulty plugins enabled (check-marked as in "Use"). All the plugins in the Plug-in Manager window that are marked as "Use" are also validated successfully in the "Compatibility" column. Opting to ignore the alert doesn’t prevent same to pop up again at next launch. Any idea to fix that?
des99
Check the Plugin Manager, make sure you are viewing all plugins and not a filtered view or folder, and click the Compatibility header to sort by compatibility, and see whether there are any crashed, couldn't be opened or failed validation plugins. Failing that, it's possible that plugins that worked on earlier OS's aren't working on Big Sur, but still are seen as passing validation from the previous OS when the plugins worked, and if you can't identify which they are, then you might want to trash your AU Cache and go through the process of revalidating all your plugins again - this time, any that don't work should result in a failed validation etc error, and you'll now know what they are. Atlas007
Thanx! That seems to have done the trick!
des99
Great! Which procedure fixed it for you, in case other people have similar problems?
Atlas007
Since re-scanning only those showing up as problematic was of no help, re-scanning the whole "shebang" as you suggested did it. That took a while but it's now booting without problem or alert anymore. Thanx again!
