balthazarrr
Hi there, Happy to join the forum! I have a question about Quick Sampler in Logic. When I add a sample to Create a Pattern using the Step Sequencer, the sample (correctly) is assigned to the Root key of that sample (see pic 1, purple rectangle, where the Root key of the sample Autumn Leaves is correctly assigned to C1) When I then want to change the sample, the new sample stays in the key of the initial sample (in this case C1), but that is not the Root key of the new sample (see pic 2, purple rectangle, where the key of the Step Sequencer is still on C1, but that is NOT the Root key of the new sample, Blazing Hot) So my question is: is there a way to change samples, and have each sample be assigned to its correct Root key in the Step Sequencer? Thanks Balthazar
Atlas007
Quick Sampler let you deal with only on single audio file. Have you considered using Sampler instead?
balthazarrr
Thanks for the reply Atlas. With Sampler I would indeed be able to add multiple samples, but not sure that would be able to do what I want. I want to set a specific drum sequence (e.g. every 1/4), and then browse through samples and try them out my sequence. I wouldnt want to add all samples to Sampler and then try them out, as that (I think) would defeat the purpose of what I want - see which samples (in their Root Key) work best in a sequence I have laid out
