ellioup
Hi Everyone, I'm currently running 10.2.4. I was enjoying it until I updated the Mac OS. I am now experiencing way more latency problems, system overloads, and the UI not showing wave forms when I move around (the UI isn't loading, like it looks sort of error-y, like can only see the wave box but not the waveform until I move the UI around and it reloads the wave). I'm currently running a 2018 MacBook Pro 8gb Ram 2.3 Quad Core i5 and Mac OS 11.1 I'm thinking about updating my version to the latest 10.6.1, do you know if any of these issues will be resolved? I used to like the version of Logic I was running but now it's becoming annoying (freezing tracks, running low latency mode, always moving my zoom in and out to refresh the wave forms). If I do this, is there anything I need to consider in regards to updating or is it the apple way where everything should transfer over simply..? I am almost done with a record and am thinking of sucking it up until I finish but I'm also annoyed with the OS update (didn't realize I was updating my whole Mac OS when I was doing this update). Thanks for any help.
facej
If you are running Big Sur (your noted macOS versions says so) you should definitely move your Logic world from Logic Pro X to Logic Pro. Make sure you save a copy of Logic Pro X before you do the update.
