Orson
Hey, So I've recorded an acoustic in stereo and most of it is fine but there's one specific note which dips significantly into the negative on a correlation meter every time it's played... the rest is ok. Is that something that can be fixed or not something to worry about ? Thanks !
fuzzfilth
How does it sound in mono ?
Orson
Hey... Christian ... Ummm? it actually sounds ok. The note in question is a deep note which seems to loose a little fullness compared to the other notes, (a picking guitar) but not to the point where it's disturbing. I guess just leave it huh ? fuzzfilth
Exactly. No listener will have a correlation meter, and if you don't tell, I won't either.

Solution David Nahmani Posted December 21, 2020 Solution Share Posted December 21, 2020 Hey... Christian ... Ummm? it actually sounds ok. Then there's nothing to worry about unless you are worried about mono compatibility. Different pitches have different wavelengths and depending on the mic positions, some will cancel more than others. That's expected.
