mugtree2000
Hi everyone I upgraded to 10.5 end of June and used it for a bit. Not opened Logic since, but now want to. But it won't open, keeps getting stuck eg: And "Application not responding" Any ideas please? Seems to be getting stuck on the plugins maybe? As it got stuck on Kontakt yesterday. Thanks

Solution David Nahmani Posted November 2, 2020 Solution Share Posted November 2, 2020 Try removing all .component files from the plug-in folders and then start Logic.
mugtree2000
Great. Sorry, where might I find that folder please?
David Nahmani
There are actually two of them: Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ and the same path but inside your user Library that you can access in the Finder by holding down the Option key while you click the Go menu and choose Library. David Nahmani
Great! Good to hear. Now you can troubleshoot which plug-in(s) is(are) not compatible with your system and why.
