taffy
Hello Is there a way to prevent Logic asking "Do you want to close the current project before opening a new project?" It does so twice and is annoying. Thanks
redgreenblue
Do you mean a way other than closing your current project? I always close my current before going to another, unless you are transferring assets between projects there isn’t a good reason to have more than one open. There is are key commands for closing projects and saving, or closing without saving.
taffy
I just don't want the warning! Thanks
Eriksimon
The way to prevent the warning: cmd-S, then cmd-option-W. Don't do anything else between these two.

fuzzfilth
Having more than one project open bears high risk of project corruption, so it is good practice to close one project before opening the next one. The warning is justified.
Plowman
In Preferences > General > Project Handling: But if you uncheck it, then Logic just opens up the next file without closing the current file. Perhaps the warning could include an option like "Save This File, Open a New File." But when it comes to saving / closing / opening, it's best to keep things simple. I can't explain why you're seeing the warning twice, though. Here it appears only once per new file opened.
taffy
Ok, thanks, I'm just going to heed the warning and just haver one open at a time. Thanks everyone
