HKC
Hi there After booting my Mac today (running 10.15.5) a message popped up telling me that I have something from Universal installed that won't run on a future version of MacOs. I assume that the future MacOs is Big Sur and I wonder if we are looking into a hardware problem or "just" a software problem. Being a longterm user of UAD I remember when UAD1 quite suddenly got obsolete so I fear the worst.... Does anybody know what that message is about, Big Sur is right around the corner. PS I realise that I can just skip updating to Big Sur which is fine if it's just a matter of waiting for a software update but it's a problem if it's not.... All the best Henrik
triplets
Make sure you have Automatic updates unchecked on your Mac and on the App Store. Otherwise you gonna be in trouble.
mdee
I asked UAD and was told there's nothing to worry about.

HKC
It's a new Mac Pro, I received reply from Universal who, like another reply also states, says that there is nothing to worry about. That is very good news to me Thank for the replies HKC
