LogicIsDoomed
I have a new Behringer X-Touch. Many times during any given Logic Pro session, my X-Touch will stop responding to my manual manipulations and messages coming from Logic. Does anyone kjnow why this keeps repeatedly happening??? To make the X-Touch responsivie again, I have to turn the X-touch on and off 1 time and sometimes up to 7 times AND sometimes have to reset Logic core audio preference or both. HELP!!! pranaearth
I have the same iMac as you and I don’t have that problem. I do have to power cycle my Xtouch twice at the beginning of each session in order for Logic to recognize the Xtouch, however. Maybe the two are related somehow? LogicIsDoomed
Does anyone else have any ideas why this "lose of communication" problem between Behringer X-Touch and Logic keeps happening??????? Yes, the latest firmware for the X-Touch is installed.
stormy
Are you connecting the X-Touch directly to the Mac? Or through a hub? I'm having some of these too and I suspect the hub.
Miguel972
Same problem here. To make it work again I have to delete the X-Touch (Mackie HUI) in the control surface manager and then let Logic detect it again. After that it will work fine but only for a couple of hours... It appears to me that this issue is an inherent problem with the X-Touch itself falling out and not playing nice with Mackie HUI.

By the way, I got a new hub made by https://plugable.com/products/ and so far I haven't had problems!
crimsonnoise
I too had problems with the X-Touch losing communication when the Mac goes to sleep for example. Connecting it via Midi rather than USB solved the problem.
