Re: Bouncing stems w/ multiple sends (bounce not including Verbs)

Re: Bouncing stems w/ multiple sends (bounce not including Verbs)

If you're working with Stems and Sends, you need to use Send1 (going to Rev1) only from members of Stem1, Send2 (going to Rev2 which may or may not be the same setting as Rev1) only from members of Stem2, Send3 (going to Rev3 which may or may not be the same setting as Rev1) only from members of Ste...

Re: Is there a way to move the scroll with using the keyboard ?

You are aware that for this you can swipe up/down/left/right on the mouse and two-finger swipe on the trackpad, right ?

If you want to keep the possibility of undoing deleting an audio recording, then I would strongly suggest you stop that habit of immediately confirming an alert that states Delete recorded audio file from disk? Can't undo this operation!

Re: Change Region Volume changes other regions as well

When the Region Automation curve is dragged with the Alt-key down, the next regions are not changed! I suggest you try that again with some extreme settings to see if that really is the case... In my world Automation is the curve. Yes, it is. And it is directly connected to the Fader which in turn ...

It means the forum software is sick and tired of giving you validation on every click. We love you dearly anyway so there's no need to verify that constantly.

Re: Tempo Stuff! Banging my head against the wall!!!

Actually yes. Smart Tempo is pretty much automatic and Beat Mapping is step by step. Beat Mapping has the advantage of much finer control, but takes more time (than a single mouse-click). Smart Tempo can get it right, but if it fails you may end up with a quarter note missing in the mid of 130 bars ...

Re: The less there is, the bigger the project size!

Yes. You can set the number here: Bildschirmfoto 2021-01-14 um 16.19.55.png If the number of backups is high, file size grows. If the number of Undo steps is high, file size grows. If one Undo step contains much data ("move 1221 Regions 1 frame to the left")m file size grows If the number ...

That's normal. The file has a bunch of rotating backups of varying size.

We went through the Beat Mapping process in detail, which is the right tool for the purpose, and set up a solid workflow for his projects.

Re: Tempo Stuff! Banging my head against the wall!!!

If you beat map, MIDI and audio stay in place, you're just moving the grid.

As I stated in my description of the process, it takes roughly the runtime of the material + 5min for a perfect result. If it gets harder than that, you're doing it wrong.

Re: Flex Pitch and "Auto-Play"

Quite possibly not soon. In any case, its usefulness would be quite limited, as you not only need to listen to the notes, but to the artifacts that result on and in between the notes.

Re: Tempo Stuff! Banging my head against the wall!!!

It was always like this. Apple caused a fair bit of vaguely similar confusion with the Protect MIDI checkbox. Many folks (including me) thought it's the same as SMPTE-lock and wondered about its redundancy, but it's the exact opposite, it locks MIDI to its beat position, ie. moves it away from audio...

Re: Tempo Stuff! Banging my head against the wall!!!

Actually beat mapping not only preserves audio position in time (not beat), but MIDI position in time (not beat) as well, without SMPTE-locking:
