You are zooming vertically, gotta zoom horizontally.

Also...
You can configure the track header to show or hide these (ugly) faders. Just control or right-click in the grey area of the track header to get this contextual menu:

Re: Where can I see how long my track is?

Have you set the playhead exactly where the song ends? And what does it read when you set it where the song starts? The difference between these is your song length.

Yes, ctrl-Z - or, as I reassigned it (as you can see in the pic) to just "z".

You're welcome. :)

Re: Alchemy Angelic Choir and Lyrics

You have to go into advanced mode and tweak the modulation parameters of the samples. I'd recommend consulting if not getting into an intimate relationship with the manual.

Yeah, Logic has only 62 users.
Being nr. 63, I'll look into it.

Re: "Export to MIDI..." doesn't do anything

Have you restarted? (= shut down, wait 3 seconds (or so) after total blackout, then push power button - so not "restart") and then try again.

Re: Are Apple loops totally royalty free? Topic is solved

It could simply be that many of the loops have already been used in a copyrighted production - there are quite a lot of Lego music makers active in the internet world. It's very hip. Hop.

Yep, I believe that is a safeguard against feedback bursting if you have your monitors on and software monitoring enganged.

Re: new audio track fader too low, why?

Could be a control surface or MIDI volume fader sending volume messages?

Cheap mics and cheap interfaces may hiss to some extent.

Re: Inconsistent level readings on stereo output

Any instrument with unsynced modulation (and most of them do have that) could be the cause too. They will be subtly different on each playback. The only way to avoid that is to freeze all tracks that have these FX or instruments.

Re: Anyone using SoundMover's "ListenTo"

I used to have that installed a few years ago, when we still had feline OS. Though I know it is supposed to be "listen to" I always read it as an Italian sounding term: "li stento". I ended up using it exactly never, and uninstalled it.

You've tried both what exactly? The accessibilty and... ?
Check if the plugins on your stereo out strip are set to stereo. Screenshot of your mixer would help.
