  1. High everyone, Im new to this forum but already read a lot here. Still cant get help with my problem and am really pulling my hair out here. At first my setup: Host: iMac late 2012, 3,4 ghz, i7, 32 gb (run logic here) Slave: Brand new PC i9 10900k, 64GB, VEP 7 with eastwest and vieanna stuff on it. I built a great template within the machines in where all samples and processing is done on the slave PC. Memory not more then 60% filled there, cpu at a nice 20-30% max. That pc is not even getting tired a bit... With this setup i hoped to get my mac free and as it only runs logic with not more then routing the channels with the vep clients and hosting a few eq plugins (6x ewql Spaces). Well not happening. Somehow logic's CPU is constantly high. 4 of the 8 cores are constantly peaking en showing strange spikes, this results in playback errors, audio ticks an clicks. Its aweful. Does anyone have an idea in the following issues: 1. Why is my mac's CPU stressing like an idiot while logic even is idle? 2. Other thing i notices is network traffic which shows logic is sending as much over network as it recieves... Ok recieving audio, get that one, but it's only sending midi out so, where is the data comming from? (gb's). 3. While plying midi tracks in logic, the midi out in the arrange window shows the notes but also X's... why is that? Well... really really hope you guys can help me guide my mac because it's really freaking me out Thank you! Regards, Mark
