Hi LPH, My musical typing is not working for any of my existing projects. I can write in midi through the piano roll, but otherwise I'm not getting any "signal" when I use musical typing with any software based instruments in the box. However, if I open up a brand new project, everything works fine. I'm using a Macbook from 2012. I store all of my Logic projects on an external hard drive. I did notice- prior to this happening- that the project I was working on was stopping during playback because of "system overload." I don't think there's any connection though? Thanks for any help! It looks like my original question/topic is not the issue... My musical typing is not working for any existing projects. I can write the midi into the piano roll, but otherwise musical typing is not working. If I open up a new project, everything works fine... I tried checking "Bypass all control surfaces," but that didn't work. If it's okay, I might just start a new topic... Thanks Max

Okay, just opened up a brand new project and everything is working fine. I can record midi into a track from quick sampler... That said, quick sampler and musical typing are not working on any existing projects. I realized after you asked that I was using my mouse pad to click on the play arrows of the spliced sample, so I wasn't using musical typing like I originally said...

Thanks for getting back to me! Yes, I am using the keyboard controller. That has worked in the past when using Quick Sampler to record into the tracks or cells. Appreciate the help Best Max

Hi LPH Community! My quick sampler is not recording into tracks or cells. I've sliced up my sample, I'm playing it, and the signal is reading on the mixer and track area. When I press record nothing gets tracked. I've tried doing this in both cells and tracks. Nada. Any thoughts? Thanks so for your help! Best Max

Hi, Wondering if this ever got solved? I'm having same issue. I've figured out the solution of stretching the area, but similarly would like the browser to look "normal." Thanks!
