  1. Let's make a list! I/O buffer size = 32 samples while recording, 1024 samples while mixing Consider saving your session as a package instead of a folder, for easier management (but potentially less disk space). Lock SMPTE positions of regions if you're going to change your tempo but don't want Logic to alter your regions. Check out the Pan Laws and decide which one you like. Hmm.. thought I had more. I'll think of them. Anyone have any good onehttps://19216811.cam/ https://1921681001.id/ s? I'm mostly thinking about these preferences panels, with dozens of obscure terms and checkboxes. My eyes usually glaze over because I figure that the default preferences must be pretty good if they're the default. And I'd rather watch a fun tutorial where I can learn a new trick (e.g., sidechaining), than research something like, "how many ticks should my snap offset in the Automation window be set to"? Anyway, let's be boring. I want to hear some boring tips we should all know about.
  2. Hi there. I'm a voice over artist looking to make the switch to Logic Pro X. Are there any good (ideally FREE) tutorials out there that can get me through this learning curve? I don't have a need to do any music production but I would like to be able to know the in's and out's of recording/editing/mixing vocals. Thanks for the help. Cheers!
