  1. Thanks Tankfield, now I know I am not alone 😄
  2. Thanks oscwilde for helping out. The keyboard is correctly installed in the Control surfaces, it happens automatically when launching Logic the first time with it connected, you get a prompt and confirm it, done. I checked the Editor already and it is not needed with the S Mark2 series, in fact the hardware is not even recognized there, thanks for the suggestion though. The switch between MIDI or PLUG-IN mode happens only when using the KK plugin which is like a container for all the plugins compatible with it but it does not affect the transport area of the keyboard which is always active. NI support said that Shift+PLAY is not integrated, but on their website there is this pdf where on the third page you find the combination as enabled: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/article_attachments/4408298348817 After I mentioned they said there is a mistake on the document, that's why I just need one user to confirm or not. Here is a video to better explain the whole thing:
  3. I just need one person to confirm or refute the issue, less than one minute needed!
  4. Hi, I use the S61 with Logic Pro 10.6.3 and I have the following issue: In the Controller Assignment window I can easily re-map the six buttons LOOP, METRO, TEMPO etc. to any command in Logic, I can also map Shift-REC to something else than Count-in. The problem is that Shift-PLAY doesn't work, meaning when I push the combination I can see the PLAY button feedback in the window, so basically Shift-PLAY or just PLAY equals PLAY!!! Now, I talked to the NI customer support and their answer is this is a limitation with Logic, but I just wanted to double check with any of you to be sure! To replicate the issue: open Logic’s Controller Assignments window hit PLAY on the keyboard and check the current default assignment in the DAW (Play) now assign another command to PLAY (I chose Toggle Metronome Click) press the PLAY button and Shift+PLAY alternatively the keyboard sends only the command assigned to the PLAY button (toggle Metronome) the Shift+PLAY combination is not recognised by the DAW (by default assigned to Play from Beginning) Thanks anyone!
  5. Thanks David, that was an easy one !!!
  6. I managed to duplicate and transform into PCs the selected notes, I noticed that the velocity value is transformed into the program number which is practical since i can batch change the velocities! Nevertheless, the operation creates PCs also for the spaces between notes (with value 0), therefore I created also a preset to delete all the events equal to 0: If you have any suggestions about how to merge some operations feel free to share!
  7. Sounds perfect, I am trying now but could you tell me how please?!
  8. Hi, like the title says I need to insert different PCs to different notes in a region, is there a way to do it not manually? Maybe via the Scripter because having it as automation would also work perfectly! I am using a C64 SID emulation in Reaktor called INSIDIOUS_6581 and for this type of stuff you have to be able to switch very fast the patch, often on a "per note" basis.
  9. Hi, thanks but my keyboard model can only via its editor!
  10. Hi, I have a Reaktor instruments that can receive 3 separate MIDI channels (INSIDIOUS 6581). I would like to map a simple CC knob to "something" able to change the MIDI channel received by the track and not change it from the keyboard (ALESIS v25) because it would be very clumsy since I have to use its editor software! The channel filter script is close to what I need, meaning it has a slider I can easily map for changing the channel, only problem is that obviously it is written for filtering channels and not reassign them. I also created a Transformer object in the Environment, but although it fixes my problem it's lacking an interface that can be mapped. The Reaktor ensemble is a simulation of the C64 SID and for that to be usable you need to be able to switch easily between the 3 voices (which can be set to receive a specific channel) and I rather do that instead of having 3 instances of Reaktor on different tracks. Any ideas? Maybe how to modify the existing Filter script to reassign channels instead of filtering them? Thanks, Marco
  11. Guys, wonderful community here! Thanks for plenty of options, that gives me the opportunity to understand also other functions I didn't know about
  12. Hi guys, I really hope I am not asking for something obvious but I couldn't find so far an answer! I just want to change the length of an audio region by extending it to fit let's say 4 bars: The reason is because I then want to simple loop them. How can I do it? Is this the right approach?
