  1. Can I move takes from one take-folder to another? I know I can export takes out of a take folder, but I don't find the option for the other way around.
  2. When both "Punch-In" and "Cycle" are active during the 1st round of the recording, everything sounds ok. But when it plays again from the beginning of the yellow area (because the Cycle is ON), all tracks, except the active one where I record, don't produce any audio. For instance, the drums and the bass get silent during the 2nd take for some reason. They are not muted (M) by automation or something. There is just no sound, and the meters don't show anything. This occurs only when the punch-in is active. Any idea? OS 10.13.6 LPX 10.4.8
  3. Thanks! I don't know why, but I haven't tried to copy 10.4.8 to my M1 until now. I was believing that this won't work, since it is a different CPU. But now I have Logic 10.4.8 running on Mac Mini M1, Ventura 13.1 !!! Hope the audio is going to work, gonna report here later. Thanks again.
  4. On my older Mac Pro 5.1, Logic Pro X 10.4.8 constantly crashes when I use Nebula. I guess it is due to an old LPX version, and the Acustica plugins are known to be not that well programmed for LPX. With other DAWs they work more stable. But Nebula sounds very organic, so I want to find a workaround for using it in Logic. I've seen people on other forums using some wrappers like Blue Cat Patchwork on other forums. But I had no success with Patchwork: Still having crashes. I am considering a rewire-ing setup with other DAWs or plugin wrappers. Or maybe there are some Nebula settings? Or maybe you have an idea?
  5. I have two production machines. Between them, I want to exchange Logic files on regular basis: Mac Mini M1, Ventura 13.1 (22C65), Logic 10.7.1 Mac Pro 5.1, High Sierra 10.13.6, Logic 10.4.8 (A complex hardware setup forces me to avoid any updates here) AFAIK these LPX versions are not compatible with each other. But is there any trick, a workaround? A virtual machine on M1? Export for old versions like Adobe InDesign INX format, with reduced functionality, but still possible? In the worst case, I could ditch the M1 and buy a Mac Mini 2018, which supports Mojave and 10.4.8. But I like the silent M1 in my office. ___ UPDATE: Now I found this: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/252099705 A guy is running Logic 10.5.1 on M1, Big Sur! Now, the question is, how can I download 10.5.1?
  6. Thanks!!! This did the trick!!!
  7. App Store says something, "... but you can download a compatible version". And then when I click on it, nothing happens.
  8. On High Sierra It went up to 10.4.3. That was the version I could restore from one of my time machine backups. But now I can't go higher, although I know there is 10.4.8 which is also compatible with High Sierra.
  9. I don't need anything illegal. I just want my 10.4.8 back. Maybe someone here has an idea, a workaround in App Store or similar. Thanks.
  10. Friends, People, Musicians, Producers, I am desperately in need of the version 10.4.8 I have paid for Logic 8 back in the day, I think in 2007 a lot of money. Then I bought the LXP for CHF 200. So, I paid more 1k for this app in total. Now I can not download the proper version for my High Sierra. I still have 10.4.3, but it crashes all the time. The App Store doesn't offer me the version 10.4.8. What a shame. Why is that? Could someone PLEASE help me? Thanks
  11. Hi community! Recently I downloaded DAW-Control - a universal ipad-app. ISSUE: Working fine on its own, but when my main controller SSL Nucleus is connected, Logic stops recording randomly. And then it just keeps playing the song without recording. Without DAW-Control the Nucleus was working fine more or less. Ports: The app DAW-Contol works via Network Midi. Nucleus works over the ports IpMIDI 1 & 2 Are they kind of intersecting each other? Are there any settings needed to prevent this? Anybody here had similar problems? Logic 10.4.3 Mac Pro 5.1 OS Sierra 10.12.6 SSL Nucleus MK1 iPad Mini with DAW-Control Song with MIDI and Audio, a lot of automation
  12. Can I copy an automation to another plugin within the same track? I've been searchin everywhere, but they only show how to copy/paste to another track.
  13. Hi! I have two tracks: Track A has 50 regions (red). Track B has one region (green, which I want to manipulate. I want to trim the green region by that 50 red regions. So at the end they should look the same. How to do that? Thanks!
