Thank you soooo much David! Solved!

I'm trying to setup a compressor which is controlled by a side chain but I can't select an input source for the side chain, all I can see in the toolbar for the plugin window of the compressor is an on/off button and drop down menu on the left and the view size on the right. Where has all the other stuff gone? I'm sure there used to be copy, paste, and some other buttons including a menu to select the side chain source. The only other button is on the top right of the window which just hides the toolbar entirely. Thanks in advance for any responses.
