I would like to add something: Logic crashes again. Big Sur 11.2.3 - Update. Now it is because off Breaktweaker. I will no longer use izotope products. I bounced the tracks and removed every plugIn by them.

But not very handy because I have to switch between two regions within the same instrument. And I can't merge pattern regions or do I? By the way, thank you for answers.

On snare 2 I want to automate Bus 10. I press the +, choose learn, then I move the bus slider, a lane is created BUT within a region on the snare2 track and not on the summing stack track.

OK, thanks. I don't mean the "old" automation. I mean withing the NEW step sequenzer where you can create a line - I hope that's the word in English - with automation. I send you a screen shot where I created one with the WET amount of a reverb. The question is, can you a line with a BUS as well? Can't find it.

Is it possible to automate the bus (or the value it is sending) of a track within the step sequencer? I am talking about the bus 10 & 15 in the sceenshot. I can't find when I press the plus button under äutomation".

How can I do that? I am not allowed to do assignments on the track stack. Parameter Mapping is not available. But I have to mute the main track, the shimmerpad track, to stop the sound.

Can use the sustain pedal to control the sound length? I don't mean the note length. If I let off the pedal the sound should stop. That would be great.

Yes. Something like a gate. Something like, if I press the next chord stop the old one. By the way, the sound stops when I hit the play button in logic again. Not the stop as I said.

It is a patch I created with Marc Cousins instructions. A guy from the music tech magazine. It was a tutorial. It has to be an endless loop. If I stop Logic while a chord is playing, the shimmer pad stops as well. Nothing sounds anymore. Can I achieve that somehow with the attack of a new chord? Do you think I should concentrate on interrupting the feedpack, disable the buses? But I have to say there are lot of synth with long realeses and I often thought it would be good to have a cut, like the pedal does with a piano, without fiddling on the settings.

I work with Catalina. I am not sure but I think Logic 10.5. works on Catalina only. Anyway, I had the same issues when changing from Mojave to Catalina. It seems one has to install the software anew or/and change the admin rights. Very tedious stuff - the reinstalling. They are producing polished CUI but they produce plugins which work just until the next update. They say the BreakTweaker update will come very soon. Hopefully before apple is changing the OS...

Thank you, I saw that too. BrTw is mentioned. And it is true, BtTw also causes the logic crashes. VocalSynth 2 Vocal Doubler, Insight 2 I use less or never. What interests me is whether there are people who have problems with ozone and neutron. Ozone and neutrons are not mentioned, are they?

According to the izotope product portal, no updates are available for me, so the latest versions...

I can no longer work properly with the izotope plug ins because Logic X crashes all the time. Sometimes when I open a project that has izotope plug-ins, sometimes when I want to open a plug-in itself. I am talking about BreakTweaker, the Ozone plug-ins, Neutron plug-ins etc. Are izotope working on an update? Izotope's do not give out any information, I asked and my demand is pending. The universal audio software works completely smoothly. It seems that izotope has problems with updates, when switching to catalina it took them months before the update came. Does anyone have information on what I can do - except waiting?
