  1. this is how my hack behaves. if I bounce out a project with a lot of tracks all cores will be going at 5 GHz and the fans will start to kick in while it's bouncing. a few seconds after it's done the processor will have cooled and the fans go silent again
  2. hello all so like the title says I'm converting stems from a recording session for use as live backing tracks. the tracks are technically stereo files but most of them are really just double mono tracks. the ultimate goal, as I've done before, is to end up with a logic project with 6-8 tracks of an entire set that I export as seperate audio files to load on to a zoom r8 and play from there. (one track of kick for each song, one of drums, one of bass, etc.) I'm wondering what is the best way and at what stage to make the tracks mono also wondering if there's an easy way to get all the kicks, say, from each song to be the same volume (they were from a drum machine so they are the same within each song but different from song to song) or if I need to set volume automation thanks!
  3. yes i already tried that maybe trash i’ll trash the plist? to be clear, it should still act the way i remember it previously and now it’s not working properly? i don’t want to waste your time if i’m just mis-remembering something, or the expected behaviour has changed
  4. interesting, that totally works. I've never done that before but it works. I used to just be able to highlight the area and scroll the time though. I would have thought it was a larger system problem but everywhere else in macos both of my mice work as expected. any ideas? like a preference I changed without realizing? thanks for the help! I really appreciate it it's a minor thing. but it's really messing with my workflow. I hadn't been in logic for awhile and my muscle memory is really working except for this one thing
  5. yes and yes just nothing happens when I scroll
  6. hello all, the title pretty much says it all I just reinstalled logic (10.4.8) and it seems I can no longer use my mouse to scroll the start and end locations in the bounce window. has this changed or am I missing something simple? thanks in advance for any help!
