  1. Yeah, I think you're right, David; it is an aberration. 😁
  2. OK... I found out what's happening. The while line occurs when I have a HIDDEN TAKE FOLDER that is NOT COLLAPSED. You can't see the track numbers in the images I posted earlier but the white line appears between tracks 66 and 68 (and track 67 is hidden). When I showed my hidden tracks I saw that track 67 was a take folder, and also not collapsed. When I collapsed the take folder on track 67 --and chose to HIDE the track-- the white line was gone. I'm not yet sure if it's a feature or an anomaly, but... That's what it was!
  3. I don't thing it's a graphics thing; it's only in this one project and appears even when I move it to another monitor. And it's appeared in that exact place --whenever I open that project-- for well over a year (I just finally decided to ask about it 👉🤪👈 ). But yeah, it's looking like a one-off anomaly/gremlin thing. I'll open the project in another computer and post my findings. At least it's not some feature I didn't know about. 🤣 Thanks for the response! 😉👍
  4. Can anyone tell me what this very thin white line is? I've never seen anything like it in any other project. It doesn't seem to do anything and I can't seem to handle or manipulate it in any way. It starts at BAR 3 and ends where my longest region ends.
  5. Oops! I found it! The REPLACE button in the Transport Bar was depressed. Doh!
  6. One of my projects has stopped creating take folders when I record. (It USED to behave as expected.) Of course I have PREFERENCES > RECORDING > CYCLE ON (Audio) set to Create Take Folder but when I record in cycle mode it just keeps overwriting the previous take.
  7. oh...i think i missed your latest post... thanks again!
  8. my LPX is not showing that Articulation column anywhere... not in the Drummer track nor the MIDI tracks (plain or Producer) 🤔💭 did you say you're seeing that in 10.5 ?
  9. oops! or so i thought, but i don't see the same articulation data you see (likely because i'm using an aging LPX?) so, again, i can't access that data
  10. ahh, right! articulations! i forgot about that/those... thanks Polanoid! and thanks, David, for the heads-up re the later versions of LogicPro
  11. i have a question about how LogicPro handles Drummer/Drum Kit data i created a usable percussion track in Drummer (Drummer > Percussion > Quincy - Pop Percussion > the “Studio” sound set] to have more control, i convert the Drummer track to a MIDI track i do this by creating a New Software Instrument Track and select the Sounds from the Producer Kits > Studio+ and dragging the Drummer regions onto the New Software Instrument Track, which automatically converts and yields MIDI regions everything sounds right there are many varied Bongo/Conga hits BUT virtually all of the Bongo/Conga data is on one note (D3) i look at the note data and assume Logic is using velocity to access/assign different sounds… but that’s not what’s happening there can be two hits on the same note and with the same velocity (and same duration) and yet Logic is playing two completely different sounds so my question is this: how can i access/edit the sounds at whatever level Logic is using? thanks
  12. Did I just imagine LPX has this feature? Say I want to set a 2-bar CYCLE but only record 1 bar... Of course I can set that --and have LPX AUTOPUNCH that 1 bar for me-- but... I want LPX to AUTOPUNCH that 1 bar each time it cycles, not just the first time. (And then of course keep the recordings in a take folder...) Can do? No can do?
