  1. Hi guys, I'm a newbie so please be gentle. I'm writing a song for my wife in the style of the Backstreet Boys; she absolutely loves their music. I'm struggling to find a decent stock keyboard sound for a similar vibe to the chorus from "I Want it That Way". Can anyone suggest some sounds that would at least get me in the ballpark, please? I've been looking for about an hour now, and just can't seem to find anything that sounds decent. I also have the software that came with Arturia Minilab, but that just scares the bejeezus out of me. Thank you very much for your help. Neil.
  2. You, Sir, are an absolute legend. Thank you so much. It seems so obvious now but I was tearing my hair out earlier.
  3. Hello there, Firstly, I'm very new to using Logic and have no experience at all of other DAWs. I'm really sorry to ask something that probably has an extremely easy fix, but I'm so frustrated that I can't find an answer. I've searched the internet and this forum for similar problems, but I'm probably not using the right keywords because I can't seem to find a similar problem. I'm recording with a Roland Quad Capture with an XLR into input one on a Two note Torpedo Captor from my Mesa guitar amp. I recorded a couple of guitar tracks a couple of weeks ago using this method with no problems. I use space designer to load up some Celestion IRs I have and it worked like a charm. I've opened up the project again today to add another guitar part and for some reason it's just not working the same. I added a new audio track with input monitoring selected and could hear my guitar coming through the left monitor speaker, plus I could see the track meter moving as I played. I opened space designer on the track and loaded a Celestion IR but it didn't change the sound at all. I've turned the dry signal all the way down and the wet signal to -15 which is exactly how I had it set when recording the guitars previously. I can't see what I'm doing wrong but I thought I'd record a little bit of it and see if it recorded with the IR. I recorded a short passage and can see the wave form on the track, but when I play it back I just can't hear it at all. I can hear all the other tracks: drums, bass and 2 guitars. There's just no sound coming from this one track. I've attached a screen grab to hopefully show what I've got selected. Please can you help me as I'm going insane trying to work it out. Thank you so much for any help you can give me. Neil
