  1. Same issue has been happening to me lately. I was just about to post, when I searched and found this message. Same thing - I can save as and/or rename, but not save... I am running Logic project from my Synology DS220+ NAS over Ethernet and never had similar issue. Tried to google something, but no results...
  2. Hello guys, Have you seen the Kush UBK Logic Theme recently? All links are broken and I can't find in anywhere. Maybe someone has any leads? Best, Ven
  3. Gotta go to MacOS 12.3 then, still rolling Big Sur, haha 😄
  4. Update: Shortly after I posted here it appeared that there was an odd pop-up behind Logic's loading window that caused all the trouble... I succeeded in opening the plug-in manager and tracked down those failing AUs... It happens too often that I post or ask about something and then it solves, haha.
  5. Hello guys, I know you're all indispensable knowledge bearers and I've gotten to the point where I need to turn to you for help.. Recently I've updated to 10.7.3 and did AU Re-scan. The issue is that upon firing Logic, the pop-up telling me "You are using incompatible Audio Units." appears and gives me the option to Ignore or Start Plug-in Manager... No matter if I click the first or the second option, it leads to Logic Pro hanging (Not responding) and I have to force quit it. I've got more that 1400 AUs and there is no way to locate those 19 AUs, that did not pass AU Validation, manually. I've tried launching Logic in safe mode, but same happens. Any ideas how to proceed, cause I've got none... MacOS 11.6.5, iMac Late 2015 27" Retina 5K, 32GB RAM, 4.0GHz. Thanks in advance for the help!
  6. Hello guys, I recently browsed and came across Chord Grid Library. As I am getting into guitar (as an amateur) I liked experimenting with the Open G tuning. Do you know if there are any Logic Chord Grid Libraries available on the internet? I browsed the forum and did my best to search Google, but couldn't find any. I got several smartphone apps for that and I know that I could get diagrams just by searching Google Images, but I wondered if in general there are some Chord Grids for Logic. Best, V
  7. That's an interesting screenshot. I assume Dolby Atmos support is not a rumour anymore.
  8. Ah, yes. Great catch, could be just that! A few months back me and my team got our hands on a Pulsar-23 to play with it a bit This thing is wild! Anyway, if there is no such list already, maybe we can start filling for it. Anybody who knows something about the inspirations behind Electronic Drum Kits please write here.
  9. Hello, There is this app called Disc Inventory X which scans and shows all files on your computer as rectangular colored shapes and it makes it so easy to spot heavy files. On de-installers, I'm using AppCleaner from freemacsoft. Been using it for so many years and it works great! Tracks all linked files and completely deletes apps. Saves me a lot of time.
  10. Hello fellow Logic users, Here is a weird question regarding Drum Machine Designer. Do you know if there is a list somewhere of all the Electronic Drums Kits and their corresponding hardware instruments (when applicable ofc). Besides the named TR-606, 808, 909, Simmons etc., I'd like to know if other not so descriptively named presets like "Pulsar" or "Neon" are modelled after another hardware. What got my attention is that in the library each Kit is represent by one of the three available icons - MPC, Roland and the third one I could not recognise. Thanks! Stay safe, V
  11. Hello Miguel, IMO Best way to do it is using the MIDI FX Freeze Plug-in by Audio CR. I know it's not built-in and is 3rd party software, but to me it works magic. Best, V
  12. Hello guys, A friend of mine has a really weird problem with his Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol S61 Mk2 and Logic 10.6.0 under mac OS 10.15.4 that we were unable to solve. Weird thing is that Logic recognises no Note On Events for the keys C1 and A2. We checked the environment and the input to Logic's sequencer reads only the Note Off Event... Outside Logic, and tested with MIDI Monitor.app there are Note On Events and everything works perfect. There are no filter, no nothing. We already contacted NI support, but I wanted to check with you too, since people around here are super knowledgeable. Thanks! Have a happy season, V
  13. I was able to trace this behaviour. So it happens every time for me if I do the following: Open a new empty project > Import MP3 File with Shift+Cmd+I > Analyse Smart Tempo of the file > Apply Region Tempo to Project Temp > Save Logic project as a package. I get 100% creation of .mamd files.
  14. In my case I used .mp3 files, yeah! Imported them to a new project via Audio Import command.
  15. Yes, for example here: They are quite small, about 60 to 83 KB. I've got one. When tried to open it with TextEdit or Text Wrangler, all I got was wild symbols. EDIT: I think they appeared after I used Smart Tempo... Not 100% sure tho.
