  1. My hunch is back then you used a USB mouse! I didn't, which is why I've always had this problem. It's my Magic Mouse… I never used a USB mouse, it's always been the Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard, even when it used to work. At this point, I've just connected my FP-30 with the usual USB wire, and it's fine since it's close enough to my iMac.
  2. I'm on Big Sur, 11.1. I guess it's just a bug, and will hopefully get patched eventually? Strange that it's apparently not happening to everyone.
  3. This is a new issue I'm experiencing, I believe since the latest Logic update. When I select "Export Audio File(s)," that window that pops up just doesn't show the contents of the folder I'm exporting to anymore. Now, I have to manually stretch the pop-up window, or click the "Options" button, to view this. Every time I choose to export, I experience the same issue. Is there a way to save the size of this export window permanently, and is anyone else experiencing this issue all of a sudden? I have attached a screenshot here showing what I'm talking about. By the way, I'm on a 2019 i9 iMac, if it matters. Thanks in advance for your help!
  4. I'm especially frustrated that back in 2016 or 2017 (can't remember exactly), it worked over Bluetooth. What could have possibly changed since then?
  5. Very interesting. I guess I could invest in a wired USB mouse just to experiment this, haha. Thanks for sharing!
  6. It's just a shame because on an older OS from like 3 or 4 years ago, I had a cheaper Roland keyboard with the exact same Bluetooth functionality, and it actually worked for MIDI back then. As soon as I got this newer Roland keyboard, I had a new Mac OS, and it no longer worked. I haven't tried it on Big Sur but I'm honestly too de-motivated to try, haha.
  7. Hi! No I did not. Every time I return to this issue, even after an OSX software update, it just results in the same wasted time and frustration, sadly.
  8. As much as I'd need—I could say I'd afford a higher tier MacBook Pro, but I wouldn't want to spend that much if it never gets used for my purposes. I do have a maxed out iMac at home, and I don't travel too much, but it would be nice to have the option to work on my recordings when I do.
  9. Hi everyone! I'm looking into getting a MacBook for when I'm out of town and need to record vocals (I have a pretty powerful iMac at home). I mostly record vocals, and occasionally do use Logic's built-in software instruments. My vocal tracks usually have EQ, compression, a de-esser, and reverb. I'm quite the amateur when it comes to this stuff. I might use it for Final Cut as well for some more amateur 1080p level video editing. I like the portability of the MacBook Air, but I know it's generally more meant for people who browse the net and what not, and that the fan can get loud. Would it be worth getting a higher spec MacBook Air, or should I ignore the Air altogether based on what I'd use it for? If the MacBook Pro is worth it for my needs, what specs would you suggest? Thanks everyone!
  10. Alright, and you saw my screenshot showing the "Sources" under MIDI Monitor? So at this point, what might be troubleshooting options be?
  11. Here are some screenshots of Audio MIDI Setup when the keyboard is connected... Does any of this mean anything significant? Thanks so much for your help David!!
  12. The thing that confuses me is that after I connect the keyboard to my computer, Logic has that notification that 1 input and 1 output is now available... That must mean something, no?
  13. Here's a screenshot of everything I see on the screen of MIDI Monitor. Does this offer any useful info?
  14. Just bumping, anyone else have any ideas what I could try?
  15. No, I'm just saying that I don't get the first file named "desktop". Well, that depends on what's in the "pattern" section when you export.
