  1. You made me laugh, Robert And Ultrabeat HAS BEEN UPDATED recently! Now it's at least scalable, thank god
  2. Haha, okay, David, thank you for such a quick response!
  3. Hello guys! Standard reverb strips in Logic include a disabled Chorus effect before the actual Reverb. Is it a common a practice among producers to mix reverb with chorus? I don't think I've seen this much in educational videos or anything, but there must be a reason for making it a default setting in Logic, right?
  4. I am so hyped about new LPX, I've been checking if there are any updates on my phone at work. I really hope they do release it this week.
  5. I am quite certain there was a combination, either shift+ctrl or shift+opt, to quickly choose velocity tool (similar to cmd-clicks). However, it does not work for me any longer. Does anybody have the same problem? Or am I missing something? Did I perhaps change something in the preferences accidentally?..
  6. No. Is there an issue you're trying to resolve? If yes, go ahead and describe the exact issue you're suffering from; if not, you're overthinking this. No, David, nothing in particular. I have occasional system overload messages in big projects, just as everyone else, I guess. So I’m trying to postpone this as much as possible, and I know that synths require more CPU power when used in polyphonic mode, so I thought that similar thing may be applied to other plugins. Thanks!
  7. Okay, thank you, guys. Perhaps I am getting a little too much crazy with this. But while we are still here, could you tell me what native plugins I should watch out in terms of CPU usage? Which are the most hungry? Does turning off some of the MultiFX parts sound reasonable?
  8. Say, I want a low cut only. Is there a point in deactivating the other 7 nodes? Does using Channel EQ this way equal to using an instance of Single EQ? Or should I grab Single EQ instead?
  9. When I cut/trim/bounce an audio region to make it one beat long, the region becomes a tiny bit (less than a millisecond) longer. When I loop it, the mistake keeps adding up after each repetition. Seems like a 10.4.5 bug (or am I missing something?). I will probably convert it to a sampler tack or just copy/paste as a workaround, just reporting a bug.
  10. Yeah, I sometimes watch tutorials on how to make a particular sound, but try to follow the same steps in a different synth (e.g. if a tutorial is in Serum, I’ll use ES2). Thanks for advice, David.
  11. Hey guys, thank you all for your insight. I totally agree on the point about the depth of Logic’s capabilities, and I also forbade myself from buying any third-party synths untill I learn all ins and outs of the suff that comes with Logic, hence my question. I am quit a newbie in synthesis, though, so I wanted to hear some learned opinions on this matter. By the way, I find those small synths pretty cute, and I am not disgusted by their old-school design at all. So I am happy you don’t think it’s a waste of time to play with them.
  12. Do you even use them, guys? What for? Or can every “small” synth in Logic be easily replaced by ES2 and Alchemy?
  13. Oh, I'm dumb. Thank you very much for a quick response and this wonderful community, David!
  14. Hey guys. So I have tracks where I need no input (FX and stuff), but I still want to record automation on them. This message pops up every time I start/stop recording. Is there a way to disable it for good? I understand that this is really not a big deal, but I'm a bit OCD, and it bothers me.
