  1. @cinningbao Hi. I finally managed to get back to this track and you were right! Such a simple thing to check and yet - it was that!! I was in low latency mode! Turn it off and it works again. Thank you!
  2. Got another conundrum for you chaps/chap-esses: After I audition a file in the browser, it jumps to another random (or so it seems) part of the list. I've cheked the following: 1. This happens whether other audio files are open (arrow down) or not 2. Nothing is highlighted/selected on the arrange page I've added a screen recording (no sound though, sorry). You will see I click on the sound to audition it, it plays. I let go of the mouse and the browser jumps to another view in the list. This has become a pain as it sometimes happens when I try and pull a sound out - and I end up dragging the wrong file. Screen Recording 2024-04-04 at 13.55.28.mp4
  3. Hey @cinningbao I just wanted to reply - I don't have the project open right now, but will check your points. I know it was nothing to do with automation written.
  4. Is there any reason a track (let's say drum track that is constant) that is being fed into the sidechain of a compressor on another track (eg. a synth) might stop triggering the sidechain compression? (Other than if the drums stop playing of course). Re-booting Logic seems to kickstart it again, but I don't want to have to keep checking and doing this. I haven't sent a screen recording as it's exactly what I have said - and yes, I do have the correct instrument on the sidechain as it works - when it works!
  5. As I have said before, welcome to my world! Haha. Yeah, I created a midi track with a 4/4 click looped. Thanks for trying though.
  6. (gotta pop out... back in half an hour ish)

  8. I can't see that I have a click channel in my mixer page... Just did this - and it wasn't in the environment, so did what you said and it came up exactly as in your screenshot - but still no sound. Do I need to route it in some way, @David Nahmani?
  9. Another Adie anomaly for you. Haha. My metronome (click/Klopfgeist) has stopped working. I have checked the settings and all seems fine. I closed Logic and reopened it and still nothing, but it DOES work on a new project. See screenshot: I have the project settings open for my current song (on the right) and a new one (on the left) to show you they are the same. It WAS working when I started the song. So why not now?
  10. I agree 100% with that methodology, @David Nahmani. I put it down to being a bit of a control freak. I like to SEE what the volume is doing at all times... With region gain, it makes the waveform bigger (and louder of course) so you can see it - and track automation, visible all the time gives you your confirmation of what the overall (and fader) level is doing.
