  1. But the interface connects to my iPhone fine and the video picks up the sound from my mic also fine. I just want the volca drum beat I created to play in the video via the interface so it sounds clean
  2. Hello I made this setup to allow me to record videos of me singing directly on the iPhone camera. It was great with recording a live singing on my iPhone with a great mic quality. Now I want to add my beats that I made with volca in the videos. Currently I can only connect the volca to a speaker and the condenser microphone picks up the sound, which you can imagine is not of a clear quality like it would have been if it were going directly in the interface and into the iPhone like the sound of my condenser mic does. Is there a possible way to direct the sound of my volca to my video recording with the setup that I currently have? Thanks
  3. Thank you so much DAvid. that helped a lot hehe
  4. hi @des99 thanks a lot for the link! I did follow all the steps but when it comes to 2. - there is no information about the midi channels in both manuals of my controllers. the Yamaha p45 basically says that the Midi goes to all channels. the korg nano pad does not even have that information in their manual sheet i changed the midi channels in the track section in Logic Pro ( it was on all before) Now the drum machine - The nano pad is going on 2 the Yamaha p45 piano on 1 but nothing has changed. i would appreciate any help because I was really looking forward to jam and record while playing both thanks all
  5. both instruments are linked to both tracks, that's what I want to do, separate them
  6. Hi guys, basically I have connected my Nano Pad and Yamaha p45 to a USB Hub where the PreSonus USB96 is also connected and it goes to my MacBook Pro Retina 2011 The NanoPads are linked to the DMD instrument and the keyboard to the Kontakt piano track, so two separate tracks However, when I play the nano pad, both instruments - the keyboard and the DMD are making sounds the same goes for the keyboard, it plays notes but also drum sounds. I checked the in the MIDI settings and Inputs but I can't figure out how to fix it. I hope someone has a clue thanks these are the instuments
  7. sorry, I was probably not clear what I meant. The step sequencer is playing but the signal indicating the location of each beat does not start right with the pattern (you can see on the video that it starts on the 00:09 sec)
  8. Hey David, sure, what should I take a screenshot of? This is the initial step sequencer in the video. As you can see from 00:09 this is when the sequencer starts to move with the beat, even though the pattern started way earlier.
  9. Hi everyone, I like to use the step sequencer to synchronize the drums when I create. However, every time I place a pattern and play it in my project, the step sequencer starts moving the playing blocks at a random place. This is very frustrating, as the more patterns I create, the more difficult it gets to keep the right timing with the playhead moving randomly. I have screen recorded a video to help you understand my problem. I appreciate any help thanks
  10. thank you! That's actually quite a useful tip.
  11. Hello, so I am bringing back this topic because I finally understand David's explanation more clearly. Because I am recording multiple audios, my recording settings are set to create a new track with each recording and mute the previous. Every newly recorded track goes into the same channel strip by default. I then end up having multiple audio tracks belonging to the same channel strip and sounding the same, even when each track's content is different. Is there a way to tell Logic to automatically create a new Channel Strip for each new track recorded instead of me doing it manually for each piece after the whole recording process?
  12. Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me I am recording harmonies for a song and I am looking for a way to assign logic to create a new track with each recorded segment when the cycle is on and don't mute the previous track so that I can sing on top of the previous cycle recording I have just done and so on so on... Is that possible, cause logic does not have it as an option in the settings and I can't think of a way to achieve this. thanks
  13. oh man, I wouldn't have figured that for weeks. Thank you so much!!
  14. Hi guys, can someone please explain why this sound change might be happening? I am so confused? There are no automation nor any other applied parameters that might affect it as far as I am aware your help is much appreciated. Thanks Martin
  15. Hi guys, Thank you so much for the replies. “Triplets” this mic does look like a really good deal. It looks so good that it makes me question its quality. Can you record radio quality vocals with that piece of equipment? Also the comment about isolation balls is something I wasn’t realizing before. I thought it looks quite professional as I saw some songwriters using it in their own home studio “Lauv” had one in his bedroom as he first started his career. When you referring to reflection filter that attach to the stand, are you talking about these things here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/AFMS-Pro-Acoustic-Microphone-Reflection/dp/B00KJ26XL4/ref=asc_df_B00KJ26XL4/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=310679392516&hvpos=1o22&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14980452561281547484&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045999&hvtargid=pla-565187572076&psc=1
