  1. Hi I use markers a lot. I create a marker, name it 1M01 and then create another marker later on and name it END. I lock all the markers in the list editor. But the ends of each markers shrink all the time leaving me with no visible marker at all and then I have to grab the left hand side of something I can't see and drag it to the right to reveal the marker region again. It happens all the time. Don't know why. Is there a way of locking the end of each marker as well as the beginning? using Logic pro X 10.5.1 here. thanks G
  2. Yeah weirdly I just upped the audio buffer setting and that sorted it. Never had quite that behaviour before with very low buffer but there you go.
  3. When I insert an AutoSampler on a track the instrument goes glitchy, like a serious bit reduction/interference sound. If I then remove the auto sampler the instrument still sounds the same (glitchy/distorted). Any ideas what's happening? This same thing happens when I put the external instrument plug in on an external instrument track. Logic 10.5 OS: 10.14.6 Mac Pro late 2013 64 GB RAM
  4. I think it was a problem with my Mac not logic. Sound so started stuttering with iTunes and soundcloud. It wasn't my Apollo 8 as I disabled that and had the same problem. Restarted my computer in safe mode to check hardware was ok (it was) and then the problem went away. Hoping it won't return!
  5. Ok, I've been struggling with this for three days and it's driving me insane. My Mac Pro dustbin late 2013 with 64 gb of RAM is spluttering, choking, glitching, stopping, and generally not wanting to behave with only one software instrument playing. My template is very very light, only 12 tracks, I've removed the two reverb sends I was using and I"m not running any other plugins. I've got every instrument running as a separate kontakt/play/engine instance (not multis), I've got no tempo changes, my buffer is set to 512, process buffer range set to large, multithreading on playback and live (putting in to just playback doesn't make any difference), I've even got an audio track selected. It can't get through a few bars without artefacts, stuttering, popping etc. If I'm recording it takes itself out of record after a few bars when it starts struggling.I've tried disconnecting my Apollo 8 and running it through the inbuilt sound of the computer to see if that was the problem, but no. I'm running the Sierra 10.12.5, the latest logic 10.3.1 and the latest Kontakt, Play etc. Anyone have any clues? It tends to be my final core that pushes it all over the edge but as you can see from the attached pic they all go a bit mad and they don't even have to peak for the sound to start going crazy. Any help or ideas appreciated. Grant
