  1. Hi again, David, File attached! As you can see, I transposed the region 10 semitones up using Transpose in the inspector. When I press play, the note ends a little after the first beat of the 2nd measure. But when I transpose it back down to the original note, the note plays as normal—i.e., it ends a little before the 3rd measure. Thank you! sax.zip
  2. Thanks, David! I will do so when I get a minute. For now I did a workaround by using the PitchShift insert to accomplish the same goal.
  3. Hi! I am using Transpose in the region inspector to pitch shift an audio region (saxophone) a whole step up. When I do this it shortens the note (by about a beat) and adds a "ghost" note at the end of the region. Can anyone help? I'd like to shift the pitch and keep the original note value and not have any audio artifacts added. Logic 10.7.2 macOS 12.0.1 MacBook Pro M1 Max Thank you!
  4. Hi! I'm trying to automate the Wet parameter in the Echo effect. I have drawn a line from 0% to 100%. When the Wet level reaches 60% all of a sudden it snaps back to 0. But if I place the playhead after the 100% point, the Wet level is 100%. Can anyone help? Thank you!
  5. Hi, Is it possible to send audio from a Logic track to an external effects unit (for example, a Meris Polymoon stompbox) via an Apogee Duet 2 audio interface then send the resulting audio back into Logic? I’ve tried without success. Perhaps the culprit is that the Duet 2 sends speaker-level signal, whereas the Polymoon accepts instrument- and line-level signal only? Thank you!
  6. Hi! I've connected a Moog Grandmother to my laptop via an E-mu XMIDI 1x1 Tab USB interface. I also connected the audio out from the Grandmother into input 1 on my Duet audio interface. I created an External MIDI track. I set the MIDI destination to the E-mu, set the input to 1, and the audio output to 1+2. When I play the Grandmother, I can hear it fine. But when I press record and play the synth, Logic doesn't record anything. No blank region, nothing. I reconnected my synth via a standard USB cable and was able to record MIDI data. So, it seems the problem lies with the E-mu. Can anyone help? Thank you! ---------------------- MacBook Pro 15" 2017, 3.1 GHz - 16GB RAM | OS 10.15.4 | Logic Pro 10.4.8
  7. That makes sense. Thank you, David!
  8. No—bouncing offline in the past has resulted in missing tracks, audio glitches, and other kinds of weird artifacts. Is bouncing offline preferred?
  9. Thanks, David! I have a rather old computer so I was thinking freezing the tracks would do the processing ahead of time, as it were, and avoid any unintentional and unwelcome artifacts that might result from my computer being unable to process everything in real time as the bounce was in progress. According to you, sounds like this is not the case. Mind explaining why?
