  1. So, I have an Artinoise Re.corder. It's a BLE Recorder. It's a great MIDI controller. Except for the standard finger holes, it also features a built-in accelerometer, of which the position is broadcast as controller data. So, tilting the flute up and down generates Modulation, the amount of air you blow in generates Expression, but then there is the rotating left/right that generates ... #20 LSB. That is all fine, because Logic records all that stuff, and you can manipulate it. However, I want to map all this controller data to synth parameters. That is where MIDI FX come in. The Modifier allows you to take a MIDI IN property, and modify it in such a way, that it will live on as another one. Unfortunately, you cannot select #20 LSB as an input. I can select cc20, but not its least significant byte. The MIDI learn button doesn't respond to that CC either. Would anybody know how to accomplish my desired mapping input. Bonus for the person who can explain why the re.corder has chosen to use this rather obscure controller data
  2. Arturia has updated their plugins to nativeness! However, the software is unstable under Monterey
  3. Hey, after all those years, you can now add images to your project/track notes in Logic 10.4.2!
  4. This is the situation: I have this wonderful midi controller: the Nectar lx49. Except for a keyboard, it has 8 faders, 8 sliders, 8 pads, a lot of knobs, and the Pitch Bender and Modulation wheel, as well as transport controls. Most of all these controllers can not only be assigned to a CC value, but also to a MIDI channel. So, I assigned the pads to midi channel 16. Having switched on 'auto demix' in Logic, I actually accomplished that, in multi track recording, the pads are sent to a drum track, while the keys are sent to a bass sound. Excellent! This proves that the keyboard is able to send out different midi channels. And why not? That is what the thing is made for. Now, next step, and this is where you guys come in: If you look at the Alchemy synth, there is this wonderful 8-pad morphing layout. Although I realize that the beauty of this layout is that you can swipe between the pads, left to right, up and down, etc, I would love to assign each of the Alchemy pads to an individual pad of my lx49. So, the first question is: how do I assign an Alchemy pad to a controller AT ALL? Seco question would be: how do I assign an Alchemy pad to a controller with a specific midi channel? Third question would be: how do I make sure that that the midi channel assigned to Alchemy is ONLY picked up by Alchemy, and not by a track? I hope this makes sense
  5. That makes SO much sense. I'm not at my workstation, but I'm pretty sure this must be it. Thanks!
  6. Dear All, this is my first post here, so be patient; maybe this is a stupid question. I have created a Track Stack in LPX 10.1.1 from two tracks. Each track has a strumming acoustic guitar. I created the stack, since I wanted both guitars to get the same eq and reverb. To give a more spacious sound, I panned one guitar completely to the left, and the other full to the right. By creating a Track Stack, effectively LPX created a stereo aux channel, with bus 13 as input, where the two guitar tracks out put to bus 13. (see attached image) However, the panning doesn't work: both guitars stay in the middle, no matter what I do. Is this a logical (NPI) behavior? Do I miss something here? Or should it work the way I expect? Any input from you is extremely welcome regards Sjakelien
