Hi everyone, I experienced something very strange today. I had been working on a song for about three weeks and previously everytime I open the project the correct presets (patches) were being used on the right tracks but all of a sudden when I opened the project today some of the tracks had different presets (patches). Does anyone know why this happening? And more importantly how I can fix this? Ventura 13.2 2019 Imac computer 8 GB Ram 3.6 GHz Quad Core Intel Core i3 1 TB Hard Drive Logic Version: 10.7.8 Many thanks.

Thank you very much. In the end I reinstalled the Mac OS and Logic and that seemed to fix everything.

Hi there i am using Logic version 10.7.6 and Mac OS Ventura 13.1 and for some reason when I click to open a Logic project I have saved it will not open. It keeps trying to open the previous project that I had opened. I also get this error message pop up: "Logic Pro Quit Unexpectedly" "Click Reopen to pen the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple." Does anyone know why this happening and if there is a fix for this? Many thanks

No I just want to remove the audio track from the project.

Thanks Dynamic Notes, For your detailed response. If I wanted to delete the whole audio track from the project? Whats the best way? Go up to Tracks at the top then Delete track? And as long as I save the project with a different name I will not get the audio file is missing error when i reopen the project right? Many thanks

Dynamic_Notes yes i just want to remove the audio track (vocals) and so cutting it via the Edit menu seems to be the perfect solution! If I want to delete the whole audio track? Hi there, I have created a project to practise mixing and added all the relevant plugins but I would like to delete the existing vocal tracks and add new vocal tracks. Whats the best way to do this? I know sometimes when you delete audio/vocal tracks it gives you the option to keep the audio but delete it from the project but for some reason I do not always see this option when deleting audio tracks and when I rename the project and try to reopen it again I get an error message saying that some audio files are missing and it gives me the option of searching for them manually. How can you delete an audio track/file but keep it in the project folder? So that I do not get the error message that audio files are missing? Many thanks

Hi Simon, I did briefly try it but it didnt work out! So I bought the Waves plugin Waves Tune Real Time which can tune your vocals in real time. So far I am happy with the results.
