  1. Tried again with US keyboard and with "UK PC" and still does the same. I got around the problem by using "Forward/Rewind by transient" key command and then split at playhead but it's interesting to find out why I get this weird behaviour with the marquee transient function...
  2. I'm using the standard apple keyboard. Both "delete" keys do the same UK layout. I try the US layout later.
  3. Make sure you first press the right-arrow key to move the Marquee line to the next transient before you press Delete? Like this (this is me alternating between Right-arrow to move the Marquee to the next transient, and Delete to cut the region): marquee-cuts.gif Weird it's not working for me. Right arrow and then backspace.
  4. Hi. Sorry to barge in to this thread! When I try this the 2nd split at transient deletes the remaining of the file. Is there a way to literally just create cuts on the audio file as you move along? Thanks
  5. Hey guys Can you have more than one drummer region per plugin? So you can A/B different beats? Cheers
  6. Hi guys Is there a way to mute all outputs of a multi-output drum kit plugin when pressing the track mute button? For some reason (dont know if it is as intended) when I mute the track in the arrange window it mutes only o/p 1-2 of the drumkit plugin. Thanks
  7. Thanks for the reply. I need equal length. Not equal end And without time stretching. Option+Shift will give me the equal length but with time stretched audio. Used to work in older versions of Logic but now holding down option gives the time stretch function.
  8. No worries Im working with audio regions
  9. I'm looking to resize these two regions to the same length. I'm 100% sure I have done it in the past. EDIT: Oh it seems it can only be done by the event list
  10. Hi guys Trying to resize two regions to the same length. It should be option+shift right? But I get the Time Stretch function as soon as I press option. Is there an option to turn the Time Stretch function off? Thanks
  11. Never tried project alternatives. Wouldnt that go back to the alternative without the edits if I recall the "main mix alternative" ?
  12. Ok thanks. I guess there is no easy way out lol. Was wondering maybe with the new "sends on fader" mode in the new Logic I could have an "edit" mix and manually change the output of that mix to Stereo Out and swap between the main mix and the edit mix? Dont have the new Logic yet so will have to try when I get it
  13. Hi guys. Is there a way to have an "alternate mix" within a project? For example I have a project that Im very happy with the mix/levels. I need to do some edits meaning I will have to turn some channels louder and even pan them left/right to get the edits spot on. Is there a way to "save" the mix I have and just use a different mix for editing? I only have 1 stereo out on my Scarlett 2i2. Hope this makes sense. Thanks
