Hi all, I have been doing this for a while, but it no longer works. I copy a GB file from my friend's mac, take it home to open/edit in Logic. When I try this today, a few of the files copy over to logic, then it crashes. I tried updating both Logic and GB to most current versions, but it still doesn't work. (Logic 9.1.7 and GB 6.0.5) The GB file looks fine, so i assume there is no problem on that side. thoughts?

--update-- quit/restarted Logic, still wouldn't bounce to MP3, but got it to bounce as a WAV.

I'm using version 9.1.6 and having this problem. my file is 1:46:30 long. I bounce large files like this all the time (podcasts) however, this time i'm getting the "maximum file size of 2.0 GB exceeded" regardless of type of file i attempt to bounce to. i have tried bouncing to all available file types, and get the warning every time, even though the file is under 2 hours (which i thought was whole issue with file types anyway). is this a bug? any advice? i usually just bounce to MP3 which works fine, even with longer files.

i'd guess that your headphones don't have as low a frequency response as your monitors, so it comes thru distorted in some way. maybe compare the listed responses on the headphones to the monitors and see if that's it? i notice that even when headphones are listed at a very low freq response, they aren't able to functionally reproduce the low frequencies they are supposed to.

i've been gone from the forum for a few years, but downloaded the new version yesterday from the app store, so now I'm back. it installed, popped open, and was working like beautiful magic immediately. I was pushed in to finally upgrading from 7 as i bought a new machine that shipped with Lion, and couldn't figure out how to get 7 running on it. now I'm glad I couldn't. so pretty! anyway, glad to see the forum is still here, as i'll be looking forward to a whole new set of logic mysteries.
