I remember searching this forum looking for some help to isolate just the effects of a bus send, but information shared sadly didn't yeild results or was not explained with clarity. So I though I'd share this video on how to do it, this possibly one thee best explanation on how to do this:
Bus your audio or midi track to an Aux, for example "buss 1"
Bus that Aux effect "buss 1" to another bus, for ex. "buss 2"
Make sure you turn off the "stereo out" on the bus (buss2) that you've sent your effects to.
Create an audio track and have the input of that audio track be the aux or (buss 2 in this example) that you've buss'd your effects to, be the input.
Press 'R' for Record.
Then viola, you've got a separate audio effects file completely separate from your dry signal, to let your creative talent do as it pleases with it.
