  1. I've chopped an audio file and converted it to the midi in the EXS sampler. Now everytime i duplicate this track or close and open this project file it gives me a dialogue box that says it can't find that audio sample that I chopped. Please help this if making music production such a headache.
  2. Oh ok. And yes I was asking if there's a way in logic to change both regions and channel strip color simultaneously. As it is a bit strenuous when you have to switch back and forth between the regions and the channel strip especially when working with a large amount of tracks....maybe this should be a new feature?
  3. Change the color of the channel strip and regions in that channel at the same time? Is there a 'convert region color to channel strip color' ? It'd be nice to have the channel strip be the same color as the regions when it is changed, instead of having to manually go into the mixer window to change it.
  4. I have 3rd party plugins like NI Massive, and a bunch of other softsynths, and effects. Will I need to reinstall the 3rd party plugins or will it pick it up and install the all plugins I have from the Logic 9? If I have to install them, how will I go about doing this, I don't have a disc for each plugin, can I just move the components of each plugin to logic pro X? Will it remove those plugins from Logic 9 if I move them? Or do I have to re-download each one and enter the product key? #transferring plugins from logic pro 9 to logic pro x
  5. I've just updated to Mavericks, but now whenever my studio interface is plugged in, Logic Pro 9.1.8 won't read my interface (Firsestudio Mobile) Does anyone know what I can do to resolve this problem?
  6. I'm having trouble hearing sounds when I pan an instrument hard left or right, it just comes out of both monitors similar to big mono. Monitors Yamaha MSP7, Interface: Firestudio Mobile. I've already tried going into Universal Control and linked both left and right, as another thread suggested but still cant hear panning. Has anyone experienced this?
  7. When I solo just the aux track to bounce just the effect, there is no audio file, but when I bounce midi tracks or audio tracks it bounces to an audio file.
  8. I hear the reverb but when I bounce there's no audio file.
  9. I think i've seen that method on here, it didn't work for me. Do you create a aux track in the arrangement and solo and bouce, or am I missing something, when ever I try the method it never does anything. Though tedious this bussing/returns method however worked effectively.
  10. I remember searching this forum looking for some help to isolate just the effects of a bus send, but information shared sadly didn't yeild results or was not explained with clarity. So I though I'd share this video on how to do it, this possibly one thee best explanation on how to do this: Bus your audio or midi track to an Aux, for example "buss 1" Bus that Aux effect "buss 1" to another bus, for ex. "buss 2" Make sure you turn off the "stereo out" on the bus (buss2) that you've sent your effects to. Create an audio track and have the input of that audio track be the aux or (buss 2 in this example) that you've buss'd your effects to, be the input. Press 'R' for Record. Then viola, you've got a separate audio effects file completely separate from your dry signal, to let your creative talent do as it pleases with it.
