  1. How do, I'm thinking about getting a sound module so that I can mess about on my keyboard without having to turn anything on. Any suggestions? I just want it for piano really, it's not got to be any great gig worthy multi sound beast, just something for me to use, I was thinking about £50. nice one
  2. yep - the only file in the queue is the one that i want to compress. but i don't know how to get it from the queue to actually compressing
  3. OK Does anyone here actually use handbrake? I'm running into the same wall i've hit before. I open handbrake - chose file - hit start - and all it says is that there's 1 encode pending? I don't know how to get it from pending to actually beginning to do something! cheers
  4. lookatthisguy - fair dos, ill give it another shot!
  5. yeh i remember trying handbrake a while back and not having much joy with it. camtasia looks a bit pricey for me
  6. How do - I have some video (VOB files) that i want to compress - anyone know a good way of doing this? I'm not too fussed about retaining loads of the quality, it's just a training dvd thing. cheers!
  7. yep - this is pretty much the kind of noise that i'm on about. Its quite bad isn't it? ill post an audio file tomorrow, pretty much rules triangle waves out though
  8. Cool - well hit this post up when it arrives - I'm not sure how much hiss is normal for them but there seems to be a fair bit... its quite audible and its not the cables because it only sounds with a note, its not a constant
  9. I just an MS-20 Mini, has anyone else got one? I wanted to ask a question about the amount of noise it gives off and what a usual amount would be considered
  10. OK, i know this thread is pretty dead but i just thought I'd update it for any poor soul in the future that bumps into it. I brought a Sampson S-Amp. No particular reason, it's cheap i guess was a reason. So i thought i'd test the water with it. The headphones are much improved as a result, bass is nice and audible now! And the levels fine now. Not sure how i rate the Amp, to be honest anything I say about it's probably just going to throw mud in the water, it's served its purpose though.
  11. it was me wrote the track in Ableton then bounced down - i'm just in the habit of having the tracks signal really low and boosting on the master.
  12. cheers - doesn't change waveform though (should have mentioned that was a main reason) no worries - i've just done it on the master strip now and anything i add will be done so quietly!
  13. Fair, wasn't sure if there was a quick way... I know its not ideal Erik but it'd be nice to see! They're too quiet for the zoom slider to do anything really... nevermind
  14. one of the reasons i want to change the gain is so i can actually see the audio file for editing, to gain utility doesn't help in that one
